Each pet carried on a flight by American airlines pet fee. This fee will be charged per pet, per flight, and is in addition to the price of the ticket. A maximum of two pets are permitted per passenger on American Airlines, and they must be secured in kennels that can fit under the seat in front of the passenger. In the cabin on flights lasting more than 12 hours, pets are not permitted.
